The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a private design school in Italy founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli. It offers 29 different courses of three-year duration, in several languages: English, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. These courses are attended by about 10,000 students every year, totaling more than 90,000 students, for the institute's forty-year history.

The Executive MBA program was launched in 1994, and the apprenticeship for students in the Master program was then opened in 1997. In 2013, Montpellier Business School opened a new campus in Dakar.
