IMI International Management Institute

In August 1991 the International Management Institute was founded at the Hotel Waldstaetten in Weggis with 55 students. By 1995 180 students per semester were being taught at IMI. In 1997 the current campus was launched in Kastanienbaum. It is a private hospitality school offering programs from the foundation level to the Master of Science. The school has over 25 years of offering Swiss hospitality education and was named in the top 20 providers of hospitality management education in the 2019 QS rankings.

Post Study Work

Students are allowed to remain in the country for six months after completion of the degree to look for jobs.
The student can apply for jobs in the rest 26 countries in Europe with Schengen Visa for exploring many options after graduation.

USA: Student Can apply for J1 Visa& can stay upto 18 Months to look for a Job

Netherlands: If a student's University/Subject ranks top 200 in the world Ranking (I,e THE/QS/Shanghai Ranking) they are eligible to apply for 1 year Job Search Visa.

Canada: Post Completion of Course in Germany student can try for Express Entry Visa
