Chatham University

Sustainability: Chatham University is known for its commitment to sustainability and environmentalism. It was the first university in Pennsylvania to receive a gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education's Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS).

Women's Leadership: Chatham has a strong focus on women's leadership and gender equity. It is a member of the Women's College Coalition, and offers a Women's Leadership and Social Advocacy Certificate Program.

Health Sciences: Chatham University is home to the Falk School of Sustainability & Environment and the School of Health Sciences. The latter includes programs in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant studies.

Creative Writing: The MFA program in Creative Writing at Chatham University is ranked among the top five low-residency MFA programs in the United States by Poets & Writers Magazine.

Study Abroad: Chatham University has a robust study abroad program, with partnerships in countries such as Chile, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Japan, and Spain.
